How to get the official Spotify app in Ubuntu :
















Spotify is a commercial music streaming service providing digital rights management-restricted content from record labelsincluding SonyEMIWarner Music Group and Universal.Music can be browsed or searched by artist, album, genre, playlist, or record label. Paid "Premium" subscriptions remove advertisements and allow users to download music to listen to offline.On computers, a link allows users to purchase selected material via partner retailers.
Spotify was launched in October 2008 by Swedish startup Spotify AB; as of 15 September 2010, the service had approximately 10 million users,including 2.5 million users with paid subscriptions.The service reached 20 million users with 5 million paid subscribers by December 2012,and 40 million users with 10 million subscribers in May 2014.

How to Install Spotify in Ubuntu :

Part I : Add the Spotify repository to Ubuntu :

1)- Open the Software Sources app via the Unity Dash :
2)- Select the ‘Other Software’ tab in Software Sources :

3)- Click "Add" and paste the following : deb http://repository.spotify.com stable non-free :

4)- Click "Add Source" , then close Software Sources:


Part II : Add The Spotify Repository Key

1)- Open a Terminal,and paste the following command :



2)- Install Spotify :
