How to use ReadyBoost technology on Win 8 :
ReadyBoost is a proprietary technique, owned by Microsoft, disk cache included in Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8 to reduce the waiting time of the user It aims to use the absence of latency flash memory (USB 2.0 or 3.0 drive, SD card, CompactFlash, hard type Solid-state drive (including accessed eSATA) or other flash memory). The operation is all the more interesting that should be accessed many small files and scattered on the hard drive.
For direct disk access, ReadyBoost technology allows Windows to be eight to ten times faster than access to a normal disc. This technique applies to cache the entire disk, not just the virtual memory.
