ReadyBoost is a proprietary technique, owned by Microsoft, disk cache included in Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8 to reduce the waiting time of the user It aims to use the absence of latency flash memory (USB 2.0 or 3.0 drive, SD card, CompactFlash, hard type Solid-state drive (including accessed eSATA) or other flash memory).
