How to customize grub with burg :
BURG, Brand-new Universal loader from GRUB is a boot loader, that is to say, a software to run one or more operating systems. It is based on grub2. His interest is the addition of a more enjoyable than GRUB GUI.
- Install Burg:
1)-
* You need to keep pressing OK while installing burg
* Be very careful you need to presse space to chose your partition if you have dual boot with Windows or any others OS you need to chose all the partions.
(presse TAB to switch to OK button)
2)-
- Install Theme for burg:
Go to : deviantart.com and search for burg theme
For exemple a chosed this one : http://sworiginal.deviantart.com/art/Lightness-for-burg-181461810
Theme installation :
1. Download the theme
2. Extract the theme package and put the result folder into /boot/burg/themes/
you need the super user
3. Open a terminal and execute thsi cmd : sudo nautilus
4. Update burg boot loader: sudo update-burg
5. Now you’re able to test your boot entries via: sudo burg-emu
