Before starting the tutorial, Download the pack then open a new document 1600x2000 pixels.
Open the next image in a new document, take the lasso tool (L) with a feather of 30 pixels and select a piece of the turf like this
Import your selection in the working paper
Add a gradient fill layer by going to Menu> Layer> New Fill Layer> Gradient
Create a new layer (Ctrl + Shift + N), and uses the brush that are in the pack
Create a new layer (Ctrl + Shift + N), fill it with Black using the paint bucket tool (G) and go to Menu> Filter> Render> Halo.

Add a gradient transfer curve adjustment layer by going to Menu> Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Gradient transfer curve and reduce its opacity to 63%
Finally add a Color Balance adjustment layer by going to Menu> Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Color Balance and set the Shadows like this
